Last Modified

Jan 31, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
- MSDP SAs received on N7K can be filtered and not installed in the MSDP SA cache even if no sa-policy is applied to MSDP peer

Conditions:
- This behavior can be seen if there has been an MSDP SA filter applied to the MSDP peer with the use of "ip msdp sa-policy" command which has been removed without any restart of the MSDP process
- Although there is no sa-policy applied to the MSDP peer, the MSDP SA filter continues to be applied to all incoming MSDP SAs
- This issue affects 4.1(5) and earlier releases
