Cisco Bug: CSCsy98789 - RTMT Incoming Calls Current counter incorrect in seperated A/A cluster

Last Modified

Oct 14, 2010

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unity Connection

Known Affected Releases

7.0(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:

When using a Unity Connection cluster and the publisher/primary server becomes unavailable, the performance counter (viewable in RTMT or CLI) "CUC Phone System", "Incoming Calls Current" may not be accurate.

Conditions:

Only applicable to a Unity Connection Active/Active cluster. Disconnect the primary/publisher server. Any calls that arrive in the sub before SRM notices that the primary is offline, the counter is incremented for each call (even if they're hung up). Once SRM detects the other side is gone, then the counter stays at that value and adjusts the current calls from that starting point. When the pub is online again, the counter goes back to the correct value.
