Description (partial)

RouterA connects to RouterB via a POS interface. RouterA and RouterB have MBGP peering - peering on loopback ip addresses There are unicast static routes pointing via the POS interfaces for the loopbakcs (used for bgp peering)

The problem is that if the unicast static route is pointing to the interface, then the rpf neighbour is shown as loopback rather than the physical interface's ip address and the pim joins are not being sent.

If the static route is referring to the interface rather than next-hop ip address.
