If a wired authenticating network profile is used then upon re-authentication attempt on open wired network port the DHCP release is triggered by the CSSC which may cause layer 3 connectivity issues.


The problem occurs only when all 4 conditions mentioned below are met:

a) wired authenticating network profile configures, and
b) wire is connected to the open port (link is up), and
c) CSSC is in the connected state, and
d) re-authentication occurs
