Description (partial)

Symptom:

Multi-chassis system is reset at ~20 minutes if switch fabric connectivity has not been established for at least one odd-numbered and one even-numbered plane. The following syslog messages will be reported:

fsdb_aserver[192]: %FABRIC-FSDB-1-FABRIC_UPDOWN : Fabric not up for data traffic 

sysmgr[85]: %OS-SYSMGR-2-REBOOT : reboot required, process (sysmgr) reason (Boot-hold by (fsdb_aserver) exceeded limit, timeout at 1211 seconds) 

/pkg/bin/shutdown_debug_script NODE BEING SHUT DOWN : Reason: (sysmgr) Boot-hold by (fsdb_aserver) exceeded limit, timeout at 1211 seconds.

Conditions:

Condition may be encountered if a Fabric Chassis is being added to a system to create a multi-chassis configuration and a Turboboot software installation is NOT being performed in order to install software to the entire multi-chassis system.
