Description (partial)

BTS_05_00_02_V05_P21 Patch Procedure needs Modification

5.0.2 V05 BTS_05_00_02_V05_P21

While installing patch 21 on 5.0.2 V05, following things were observed:

1. After bringing up the EMS from single mode, the directory permission for /opt/ems/report directory changes from
drwxrwxr-t+ 5 oamp staff 1024 Mar 26 00:30 report/
   2 d--------- 5 oamp staff 512 Mar 26 00:31 report/

causing audit to fail. So we need to have a step in the procedutre to change the directory permission to 755, so that audit can work properly after installing the patch.

2. There needs to be a message before executing step 3b that check the value of ""ResourceLimits", and if it's not "1181116006" change it to "1181116006" else go to next step.

3. While creating links in the procedure, the following error was observed:
secca34# ln -s /opt/BTSacct/bin/btsacct /etc/rc0.d/K51acct
ln: cannot create /etc/rc0.d/K51acct: File exists

There needs to be a message before executing step 3c that if link already exists, do not execute these steps.

4. Sometime 'umount /opt' fails. Need to change the command to 'umount -f /opt', so that proper file system check can be done.

5. The Un-installation procedure asks to executes the 3b, 3c, 10b, 10c steps on CA, and 5d,12d on EMS.
As these steps were part of patch 20 installation as well, there needs to be a message stating that do not execute these steps if previous patch version is P20.
