Description (partial)

Symptom:

After creating a metalink between LDAP and MPDS, the sync does occur and no profiles get pulled in. 

Eventlog will continuously show Timelimit exceeded warning messages.

Conditions:

This may be specific to a SunOne/iPlanet LDAP metalink syncing from a large OU. Also issue occurs when the LDAPtimeout parameter in the mmu file is configured to "0" or "3600".
