Description (partial)

Symptom:
A vulnerability in the SIP processing code of Cisco IP Communicator could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the client software to crash.

The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted SIP messages. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause a denial of service condition against the Cisco IP Communicator client.

Conditions:
CIPC using unsecure SIP.
