Cisco Bug: CSCsy76154 - No LAG - WLC sometime is using wrong port mac address to send packet
Jun 30, 2016
- Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: DHCP packets relayed by the WLC to the DHCP server may be intermittently lost. Packet capture shows that the WLC is sourcing packets with the wrong MAC. For example: WLC port1 mac 11:11:11:11:11:11 / port2 mac 22:22:22:22:22:22 Packets are sent on port1 using a source MAC of 22:22:22:22:22:22 Now the connected switch to wlc will learn wrong mac-address-table information and therefore packets are lost. Conditions: LAG is not configured, and DHCP proxy is enabled.
