Last Modified

Jan 09, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Firewalls

Known Affected Releases

8.0(4)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Today, if a user specifies a wrong url for the ASA we print out "Wrong URL" in the browser. Also,if user types in ASA's outside IP address instead of FQDN, the webvpn home page still loads. This is an enhancement request to make this configurable in the html editor. It would be nice to customize message as well have ability to redirect to a different url.

If the user types in ASA's outside IP address instead of FQDN , it would be nice if we can redirect them to FQDN at HTTP level.

Conditions:
WEBVPN enabled on ASA Public Interface.
