Cisco Bug: CSCsg36201 - ipsec sa receive errors incrementing under stress
Jan 24, 2017
- Cisco IOS
- Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning 12.4
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When running IPSec (IP Security) over an MLPPP (multilink PPP) bundle with output QoS service-policy enabled, IPSec packets may get dropped due to receive errors under high load and link congestion conditions. This can be observed by the number of <CmdBold>recv errors:<noCmdBold> in the <CmdBold>show crypto ipsec sa<noCmdBold> command output. Condition: This problem only occurs when the onboard hardware crypto engine is used on a Cisco 3845 router platform.
