Symptom: The report dn_summary CLI command generate the output DN summary report in /opt/ems/report directory. The file permission of the DN summary report is set as below: priems# pwd /opt/ems/report priems# ls -al dn-test.csv -rw-r--r-- 1 btsuser staff 234 Oct 12 15:40 dn-test.csv priems# Since the file is owned by btsuser account with no write access to the staff group, other BTS users that run the report dn_summary command with the same output name and type will see the following error: btsadmin>report dn_summary output=dn-test; ndc=322 Reply : Failure: at 2006-10-12 15:40:30 by btsadmin FILE CREATION FAILED. please check the permission/owner of the File. If the File exists then remove it and retry the operation The file permission should be set to 664/666 (which is the file permission of files generated by other report commands) to avoid this error. Conditions: Executing the report dn_summary command with the same output name and type as the existing DN summary report created by another BTS user.
